| As of the Summer of ’08, Maestro (son of the powerful Downen’s Design 19, who achieved ennoblement status in the fall of 2006 and sold in the Downen’s Retirement Sale for $18,000) was sold to our good friend, Norman Smith. We were blessed with a few very good Maestro does and felt we could best serve our breeding program by building up the foundation that he had laid. While the title of “Herd Sire” of Legacy Farms is still vacant, you might catch us out this summer with a couple bucks sure to catch your eye! LEGF Stung is an up and coming young buck with lots of promise anticipated from outstanding pedigree. He, along with his 2 sisters, are doing quite well in our show string. Recently we acquired BIG2 Legacys Bad to the Bone from our friends at BuckeyeIlliniGenetics. When you see him, the word impressive comes to mind. The bone on this buck is unlike any we have ever seen on a goat. You’ve just got to see it to believe it! |
